I know it's been awhile but I've actually been receiving requests to keep this blog alive... so I'll do my best to keep everyone updated.

Dave and I visited my dad today and he seems to be getting better but very slowly.

Health Update:

-After a year dad is off his catheter

-Eating cut up food/must be soft

-He has lost over 130 lbs (now weighing 200 lbs)

-Starting to wiggle his left foot (which is his paralyzed side)

I'm also proud to announce that he is the "Star of the Month" at his nursing home, Courtyard Care Center. Below are pictures of his award. I think it's funny how much he looks like the Terminator.

Please continue to call him and visit him!! He needs everyones support now more than ever. If you are going to visit him, please call him on his cell phone so he knows your coming. We just want to avoid him being in physical therapy or off property at their monthly lunch at a restaurant.
