Dad had a wonderful visit with his brother Ken and wonderful wife Patti on Sunday and Monday! Just look at the smile on his face (in the picture to the left)!Dad just got a new girlfriend! Her name is Mary and she lives around the corner from dad at the Assisted Living facility. She's very upbeat and is helping to keep my dad's spirits high. He is still very depressed and not willing to accept the fact that his physical state is now permanent.
Dad really appreciates postcards from his friends and family. I've been mailing him postcards from every trip that I go on and he gets so excited to receive them. When get home from my trip I show him all the pictures and that will usually makes his day.

Tuesday, after Ken and Patti's visit, dad had another seizure. Dads doctor is not sure why he keeps having seizures but we think it might have to do with his high blood pressure. I asked my dad what happened and he doesn't remember where or when it happened. He only remembers waking up at the hospital. Which worries me that he was unconscious for so long. Please keep my dad in your thoughts and prayers.
